TEACHER RESOURCES

The STEM teacher has a critical role in today’s evolving and growing society as technology has shifted to become mainstream. The instructor is responsible for the cultivation of ideas, the nurturing and exploration of the student’s interest in becoming a part of the global community of STEM.  To achieve maximum results, teachers have an obligation to understand the diversity of the student populace, the educational environment along with personal introspection to identify the individual role in the STEM educational landscape.STEMcx recognizes that a well- rounded approach to meeting each child’s needs must speak to the student and parent and must include the teacher to completely and fully educate, nurture, support and encourage the student to have the capacity to compete and participate in the fast pace environment of STEM..

The STEMcx 2019 included workshops dedicated to the critical role of the teacher in the classroom setting. The conference offered Friday evening and Saturday workshops for current STEM teachers to enhance their skills and provide them with additional resources from leaders and organizations who have taken the responsibility for developing educational materials to be incorporated into the classroom curriculum.

"STEMcx has afforded awesome opportunities for Educators, Parents and Students.  The STEMcx expo was very Informative, resourceful and timely.  The workshops designed for Educators focused on  STEM related curriculums, STEM resources  and ways to engage students and parents. Myself, students and colleagues greatly benefited from the expo, workshops and STEM fair.   When I look back on that weekend’s events, my heart glows with gratification."
