THE STEMcx Conference and Expo

 

welcomes over 250 middle school and high school students, parents and teachers to a full day of STEM fun. The day starts with a Keynote speaker, this year it was Stephanie Hill, Vice President at Lockheed Martin and culminates with a STEM expo. During the day students get to participate in two workshops on everything from drones to bones. CSI, Emergency room, Make-up and Beauty, even dinosaurs. We had two computer labs - one run by Northrop Grumman and the other by Lockheed Martin along with Wind Energy from Excelon and The Maryland Science Center and Robots from The Purge Project.
